Lunch & Learn - Celebrating Celebration: History and Perspectives
Friday, May 3, 2024, noon-1 p.m.

Just north of Walt Disney World lies Celebration, a place heralded as an idyllic, all-American town built straight from Walt Disney’s imagination. But is Celebration legally considered a “town”, and did Walt Disney even know Celebration was being built? Who does Celebration belong to now? Join Griffon Binkowski, a lifelong Celebration resident and History Center Educator, in an exploration into Celebration’s creation and unique history, accompanied by firsthand accounts from growing up in “The Town that Disney built”.

This program is being offered both in-person and virtually. If you plan to attend virtually, select the "Adult" ticket option that does not include lunch. The access link to join the program virtually will be included in your email confirmation following the completion of your order.
