Lunch & Learn -  Behind the Glass: Disney’s Animation in Florida

Join us for an in-depth look at Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida, the studio that once brought movie magic to life right here in Central Florida. From 1989 to 2004, this working animation studio at Disney-MGM Studios operated in full view of guests, who could watch artists create beloved characters in real time. This presentation traces its journey from theme park attraction to the creative force behind Mulan and Lilo & Stitch, and its eventual closure. Presented alongside our special exhibition, Animationland, this program celebrates the artistry and innovation that made this small but mighty studio an important part of Disney’s legacy.

This program is being offered both in-person and virtually. If you plan to attend virtually, select the "Adult" ticket option that does not include lunch. The access link to join the program virtually will be included in your email confirmation following the completion of your order.
