Join us for an evening exploring Florida’s cryptids, legends, and history through immersive exhibits, engaging activities, and fascinating stories that bring the state's most loved mysteries to life.

Between guided tours, cryptid presentations, interactive games, themed drinks, live music, and our signature courtroom trials in our historic 1927 courthouse, experience the History Center in a whole new way during this adults-only after-hours event. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a cryptid hunter, or simply looking for a unique night out, the verdict is in: this is one evening you won't want to miss.

Step back into the roaring 1920’s for a night of mystery, music and mayhem at the History Center! Inspired by the infamous murder case of estranged lovers set against the backdrop of 1920’s Orlando, we invite you to sip, sleuth, and swing your way through a prohibition-era murder mystery experience. Explore the museum after hours as you piece together clues in our immersive “Wild Swan Chase” scavenger hunt. Along the way, enjoy vintage games, snap a glam photo at our 1920s photo booth, and witness the dramatic courtroom trial of our murderess of the evening. Some say there is a secret speakeasy where you can meet our…esteemed guest in the flesh. Whether you’re a history buff, true crime fan, or just love a night out with flair, this is one History After Dark you won’t want to miss!

EVENING SCHEDULE

EXTRA EXTRA! The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with live performances from Blacklist Babes Cabaret in the atrium featuring immersive and original musical numbers. Make sure not to miss this opening act!

Guided Tours | 5, 6:30, 8 p.m. Explore the History Center with expert guides who’ll share fascinating stories about our 1927 courthouse and permanent exhibits. Tours last about 55 minutes.

Courtroom Reenactments | 6, 7, 8 p.m. Witness history come alive in our historic 1927 courtroom with reenactments from Blacklist Babes Cabaret where you get a seat in the jury box!

Game Room | 5 – 9 p.m. Enjoy 1920’s inspired games

Speakeasy | 5 – 9 p.m. Complete the scavenger hunt to find the speakeasy where a famed guest may appear, featuring music by CFC Arts Big Band

Trivia Sessions (Game Room) | 5:40, 6:30, 7:30 p.m. Each session lasts about 20 minutes.

Interactive Experiences | 5 – 9 p.m. Enjoy activities throughout the evening, including:

• Photo Booth – Strike a pose and share your photos on social media.
